The Vivekananda Mission Asram is a non-commercial, non-profit making, non-government premier philanthropic organization, recognized and aided both by Government of India and West Bengal,and notified as an institution of national importance. It is a manifestation of Vivekananda’s belief that in order to serve God, one has to first serve Man.


The Asram strives to mould its students into self-respecting responsible citizens. It works to ensure for them, quality education, health care with special emphasis on eye care, and rehabilitation. It also conducts activities to instil in them, spirituality.

Through its myriad activities, the Vivekananda Mission Asram has touched the lives of those less fortunate with hope and courage.
