The Vivekananda Mission Asram’s aim is to serve common people in the field of education and health and provide rehabilitation, and it is highly dedicated to this end. In order to provide meaningful service to the underprivileged, the Asram has striven to ensure quality infrastructure.

It has set up a Free Residential Co-Educational school for the blind and also several educational institutions for those gifted with sight.

To provide rehabilitation to its students, VMA has set up a number of training centres.

The Asram also has an eye hospital, which provides exhaustive treatment in sub-specialty clinics like Squint, Diabetic Retinopathy, Low Vision, Child Eye Care, Glaucoma, Contact Lenses and Telemedicine System.

In addition, VMA also provides general medical treatment through homeopathic and allopathic charitable dispensaries.
